"SaWaddee Krub!!" My name is Jakkaphan Saiprasert, but you can call me "Mr. Bank." I am a Tour Guide and Travel Advisor at Wonderful Chiang Mai Travel. I was born in Lampang in 1991, and at that time, an international bank had just opened, which is why my dad decided to name me "Bank."

I graduated from North Chiang Mai University with a major in English for Communication. After finishing university, I immediately jumped into the tourism industry. I began my journey as a receptionist at a small hostel in Chiang Mai, surrounded by travelers from all over the world. It was then that I realized, "This is my life."

After two years as a receptionist, I felt that the role was too confined for me—I needed more freedom. By chance, I applied to become a tour guide, and it changed my life!

Best Moment as a tour guide

For two wonderful years, I worked as a tour guide, thoroughly enjoying my career. However, my journey was abruptly halted by the COVID-19 pandemic. It felt like a dark time, with no end in sight.

But after the storm passed, life began anew, and I never forgot how much joy the tourism industry brought me. I returned with a fresh perspective and a new mission: to "make the world of travel better than it was."

I rented a small place in front of Thapae Gate and established what is now "Wonderful Chiang Mai Travel." I am proud to showcase how beautiful and truly wonderful Chiang Mai is.
